In 2023, the Tufts Wildlife Clinic was celebrating its 40 year anniversary. To commemorate and reflect on its achievements over the years, the editorial facet of Tufts University, TuftsNow, published an article with an accompanying timeline of important events.
Goals/Objectives
Develop a succinct, cohesive timeline of key events spanning the history of the Tufts Wildlife Clinic using provided photos and content.
Field Notes
The Tufts Wildlife Clinic provided photos spanning across the past 40 years, including key details about the events. When reviewing the provided photos, I noticed handwriting on the back of some. The handwriting was brief, usually including a date or a note taken on the field. The older photos included some scratches and dust, with the first images of the set being entirely different in tone.
Because of the handwriting, I wrote additional pieces of information by hand to add across the photos. Since the older photos had textures and grit, I added more noise, gird-lines, inkblots, and stains around the photos to tie everything together.
